Self introduction & Education
Introduction:
Hello everyone! I am Huapei Bernard Wang, an undergraduate in the School of Earth and Space Science, Peking University. I am 22, and in the senior year of my college career. In the summer of 2004, I started doing some research on paleomagnetism and rock magnetism supervised by Prof. Rixiang Zhu and Prof. Yongxin Pan in the In the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. I love that feeling of discovering and exploring as much as these lovely group people who gave me great help and courage. I am so glad to be a member of the Paleomagnetism Laboratory. And from October, 2005, I started researching the possible relationship between paleomagnetic intensity and mantle plume advised by Prof. W. Jason Morgan and Prof. Y. John Chen. It is an interesting experience to seek for evidence that paleointensity and mantle plume are related. And I just found something interesting that has not been noticed before...
